In response to a remote alarm, rules- based triggers can automatically switch the standard console views to preset alert and viewing matrixes for the security operator. With traditional camera systems, an operator can only monitor a small number of cameras and still realistically detect actionable changes on screen. With Savoy SOS, operators can automatically monitor thousands of devices and trigger events, even if those cameras are not currently in an operator’s direct view. Compared to human monitoring alone, this automated monitoring increases the likelihood of catching an act in progress. Remote Security Made Easy Because all information is sent over standard networks, Savoy SOS allows security personnel remote access to the complete operations center anywhere there is a high-speed Internet connection. Multiple sites can simultaneously view video, and, in case of crisis, control can be easily switched from the regular operations center to a remote console. It instantly pinpoints and displays the location of an alarm event and opens a broadcast- quality live video feed for full frame reviewing. Savoy Live also provides an optional, operator-initiated full duplex audio connection to the site.
