Savoy Releases Version 4.00.

Savoy has released version 4.0 of its integrated Video Surveillance Platform incorporating
numerous additional features and improvements listed below.

Console features:

- support of up to 32 concurrent remote connections
Each connection represents a video server able to deliver up to 16 cameras each,
providing up to 512 live camera images from up to 21 remote Internet/LAN servers.

- multiple Consoles interoperate as a seamless system

Multiple Consoles can be arranged in a client/server fashion to interoperate
seamlessly, providing scaleable solutions to practically unlimited size.

- automatic sizing and positioning of Console plug-ins
Using the View menu, users can selectively hide/show individual Console components
(plug-ins) and have all visible components automatically resize themselves to optimally
occupy the available screen space. This feature can be disabled in the Video Setup
    application.

- improved file transfer support for event retrieval
Improved transfer status is provided by a progress bar indicating the progress of the
    file transfer.

- posting/fetching of incidents to/from central repositories
Installations where many users, each with separate Consoles, want to collaborate on
the collection and analysis of Incidents can now do so by posting their Incidents to a
shared repository which is available to all other Console users within the orgranization.

- document tracking for collaboration among Console operators
Incidents can be documented, adding dates, times, commentary, and so on, and this
document is shared among all Console operators, providing a managed audit trail of
    an Incident analysis.

- improved video conferencing with remote sites.
A full frame rate video with full duplex audio using H323 video conferencing protocols
is provided to perform alarm verification functions as well as two-way video
conferencing with the remote site. Improved features include push-to-talk mcontrols
which eliminate audio feedback and echos.

- advanced Rule Editor for authoring Server-based rules
Rules that control the operation of the server had previously been authored by means
of a Development Client application can now be authored by a plug-in within the
    Console application.

- improved Control Panel with animated icons, live video icons, and more.
Additional data types have been added to the Control Panel plug-in that permnits
animated icons and live video. These icons can be tied to assertions from the server
and therefore reflect real- time status of the server.

Server features:

- support for Integral Tx family of compression boards.
The Tx family of compression boards are capable of higher frame rates than it
    predecessors.

- storage of compressed audio associated with video events.
Audio is compressed using the GSM 6.1 standard and stored in file associated with
corresponding video. When the video is played back, the audio is also played in
approximate synchronization. Audio files are stored only when video is also stored (e.
    g., on motion).

- full duplex audio for Server/Console conversations
The audio storage system can also accomodate two-way conversations between the
    Console operator and the serever(s).
